The microbiome is the population of micro-organisms living in your gut and elsewhere in the body. I came across this animated video that explains really well why it is important, and why problems with it could be behind the inexorable rises in lots of chronic health problems we're seeing these days.

As a specialist in brain health I'm only too aware of the importance of the microbiome for issues such as anxiety, depression, brain fog and attention problems such as ADHD, insomnia and fatigue.

Improving your gut health and microbiome health with the right nutrition may help all these conditions.
